Her coaching reflects the many phases of life that she has lived and benefits those who understand that successful running and overall fitness includes much more that youth, speed, or strength to be your best. Coach Stephanie is able to share a wealth of knowledge and experience that will benefit you, at whatever stage of life you are now.
Here are some life experiences that you may share with Coach Stephanie: Graduated from high school before Title Nine, Self-employed, College Graduate, Mother, Breast Cancer Survivor, Deaths of Children, Loss of a Parent, Competitive Runner, Loves to Eat, College Track, World Traveler, Accomplished Mountaineer and Rock Climber, Surviving Menopause, Qualified in her 20's and 60's for the Boston Marathon! Started competing in her twenties and still competes regularly.
Note: More than 90% of the women in 2011, who stuck with the program for 6 months or more, led by Coach Stephanie improved their times or the distance they could race. Stephanie placed second in her age division, in the Oakland Half Marathon, SF Half Marathon, See Jane Run 5K, and fourth in the CIM Marathon, all in 2011. She also beat the Boston qualifying time by more than 27 minutes. Her training methods work!

Running Facts...
- In 1990 approximately 2 million women ran in races while in 2010 almost 7 million women registered for races – distances included 5K – Marathons. More and more women are getting involved in setting and completing running goals every year
- The average age of women runners has been rising steadily, closing in on 40 in 2010
- Women of all ages and abilities are running. Some of them are going to be Just LIKE YOU. The WOW online network of women athletes is growing daily. We are inviting thousands of runners and some of them will be right where you are, right now and you will have the opportunity to connect
- Power Run/Recovery Walk is a technique used by thousands of runners to increase their speed and distance. You can start at a very basic level and build up to a marathon by run/walking
